for reference of what’s coming, listen to Apotheosis from Lorna Shore…
ohhhhhhh get ready.
To:Moon
oh she is definitely becoming pleasantly surprised. not the strong warrior or beast she imagined, but he’s slowly winning her over for sure.

perfect. I think there’s something thrilling in daring to legitimately have hope in the face of constant misery, and I believe that Sayane and the world are actually legit hopeful. but that dread is ever present.
exactly the feeling I wanted. daring to hope after so much dread is a risk. I wanted the reader to feel that just like Sayane and company. that’s one reason why I revealed already that the last Shard is in the Silence’s hands. no matter what, Sayane still has that waiting. also, get ready. there is one other major point coming up for you that will give Sayane a real challenge against hope and peace. something personal and specifically hers…
To:Mara
yep. a true tragedy. a beautiful, tender one, but a tragedy nonetheless

thank you! thank you for reading, Mara. my tragic, beautiful kids deserved so much more, but at least they had a few good dreams and finally found peace and rest.
we needed a truly freaked up yet relatable character. I wanted her to help set the stage for Deflowered, so that chapter doesn’t feel absolutely out of nowhere.
or maybe something as foreign as hope is coming?

also, I know I’ve said it before, but I adore the vibe of your writing. so much of it has a soft melancholy to it.
I can already see what you were saying about similarities in this and Songstress!

thank you! and yep I used it in both stories. I like to think if it as both realities blending into one story. their past in their first reality, slowly making way for their present Isekai reality.
it is lovely as always to see you again friend! I hope you enjoy your time with Sayane and this beautiful, brutal world. this is an even more sweeping, grandiose adventure, and I truly believe it’s a more well-written and all encompassing story than Salaryman. I hope you enjoy!
