yep! good catch. it’s subtle in some ways but it’s also about as straightforward as Azag can be right now.

may our competition as rivals shake the heavens
yep at this point, Izhari is convinced she is an abject failure and her summon was a failure. but Tomita may surprise her and us!
hey leverage what you’ve got, right?
thank you! I tried to do plenty of research to be respectful.

it’s been another slow drip per usual! the dreams. the very mystery of Naoe herself. the priest noticing her. the aeon revelation. there have been whispers but the next few chapters are definitely going to really lean into it.
perhaps… there’s still much to Naoe’s and Hazuki’s story
Mai! thanks for checking it out! and you’re never yapping. I’ve greatly appreciated your engagement on Songstress and Destroyers. I’m curious what you think of Izhari in comparison to Sayane and Miu!
thank you! I love poetry so I wanted to integrate that more into the story and use it as character detailing for Naoe

thank you. definitely the most brutal chapter so far. this is a major ramp up point in the story. things are about to really pick up across the board.
it was like 1400 words if I remember correctly. so a little shorter than Sayane the Songstress but pretty normal length-wise. I think this chapter draws you in a little more easily because music and its power is a little more familiar for us and Sayane, and she has a clear goal with this song.
everyone rightfully doubts Echo. he’s either a betrayer, or he’s about to finally fully see what it’s like to suffer the Silence’s intentional wrath

“Alicia Keys but make it terrifying” is a nice atypical summary for recent chapters
withoutyouIwillbeconsumedbythestorm is a good summary for the upcoming arc
yep. things go so very wrong from here
