yeah... actually i used a lot of sociological theories to craft this story so..
In this story humans and aneroids are equal but different if this makes sense.
I see them as two different "species" with different needs that coexist as equal. I don't think that it was always the case but i didn't explore it deeper in this story except few mentions that show it was not always like this
They are a minority in human world so i assumed they would create a culture that will suit them better than the dominant culture they live in
They are definitely humane (from our perspective), i tried to avoid portraying them as "walking computers" like some stories do. They are sentient beings with free will, capable of experiencing emotions like humans do but they don't see themselves as "artificial humans". They see themselves as being fundamentally different than us.
No Rea wasn't recommended to have a hobby, as an android she is way better than human in dealing with boredom and isolation so she doesn't really needed a tools that would help her to cope with it
