I wonder if some part of her issue comes from her doing what she did because she was told to do so and never actually questioned or even fully understood consequences of her actions rather than fully chose this course of action

You could say that Udari turned her into a weapon and used her to defend their city.
Maybe this is too dark perspective for this story but even if it is i believe the core theme would still hold.She did what she was told, then she got banished (don't know if this is the best word for what happened) from her community and not knowing anything else tried to do what she used to do to defend Aure but without guidance from those who decided her actions...

So for the first time she has a space to questions her actions and see the consequences of what she did. As hard as it is it may be a first step for her to heal and find out who she is (or want to be). Because Udari made her into Lullaby so i doubt this is who she really is

So yeah , pretty much Violet's theme, right?

Well done Momo, on the top of making me explore geopolitics of this world you made me to question this story from existentialist perspective
