I will come back, i promise. The story turned slightly different than i planned in the end and i also need to think how i actually will write their journey

Sol...for this story she is android more for plot reasons than my wish to explore it deeply as i did in Equation.
So it it way closer to the anime trope of android being almost like human without any apparent reason than anything else

Bit of lore i have about her if you are curious

AI like very advanced chat gpt is very commonly used
It is almost standard for most spaceship to give its ai humanoid body so it can preform some tasks, but those bodies looks more like humanoid robots
Hard AI like Sol are rare and their creation was byproduct of need for very powerful computer that could pilot ship in combat, they never intended to create it for the sake of it as in Equation
Now when the war is over and there is no need for such powerful computers, AI like this are not needed anymore. So for ethical reasons they are not created anymore, with few exeptions

I don't think so, i like this ambiguity so i can speculate
If Mordhun expect Eralia will use Laufa as sort of stormtrooper and Eralia is aware of it it leaves many possibilities
Using her as a decoy would be just one of them. But she also could use Laufa as the main attack, hoping that Mordhun would think it is a decoy because using her seems like an obvious move

Her relationship with Sam is great. I really like how much care they have for each other. It feel very mature, a relationship when you don't need to say i Iove you all the time because it is obvious
