I’m sorry for the late replies!! I was preparing for a trip to Japan! I’m writing this from the Yamanote line lmaoo
this chapter was meant to be the dam bursting, essentially, where all the feelings she had been pushing down force her to acknowledge them. many people have told me this chapter was good at making the reader feel with Elisabeth, almost TOO good, lol
I wanted to be careful about making the “stream” feel less real, because it’s not just a simulation or anything, it was REAL, just also kind of weirdly streamed. I hope that came across.
