It's also a bit disjointed from the rest, but I do like the opening to this chapter. It's a cool nightmare/TV show thing, and it does feel kinda related to the MC, as it mirrors in a way his experience in ch1, with the King being whoever is responsible for this(and maybe the princess represents the MC's wife?).
Despite the MC himself commenting that it's kinda pathetic for the noodles to be his breaking point, I fear that might not be enough to make it ok. The crying feels kinda out of nowhere. I could try to stretch my imagination and take this as the result of a long night of "torture" in this room(or a lifetime of being overworked or abused), but even then what we've seen the MC suffer doesn't feel that bad, so I'd say we need an additional something to think "it makes sense for him to break down or lash out". Perhaps it should be something more insufferable, an actual torture; or maybe there should be more weight in the flashback about the father to make it so that this part actually evokes the harsh memories of the MC about his father's last days.

Not to repeat what Sino has said, but the intro does feel like it doesn't really connect into the rest of the story. If it's to set the atmosphere, it's kinda overshadowed by the descriptions we are given once the MC wakes up in the room, which does a better job as a setup in my opinion. If it's to be creepy, then it kinda fulfills the purpose, but it still kinda disjointed from the rest of the story. If it's some subtle symbolism or metaphor, then I'm unable to get it even in my second read(which could be a 'me' problem, idk).
I like the part about the MC not being the rebellious kind, likely an overworked office guy, his wife thus calling him "little mollusc" and all that resulting in him going "I'mma do the opposite of what you say just cause this time I can."

Unfortunately I can't give you much insightful feedback. I just feel like I won't be able to come up with something meaningful to say unless I heavily wrack my brains. I guess your thing is so unique I can't find a way to review it within my limited capabilities, and rather than give random ramblings I'd prefer not to say anything more.
Overall, it was an enjoyable read, and I know the quality is very good even if I can't explain it with words.
