So I guess the big antagonist will be Otto. I had started liking to hate Daniel tbh, particularly after his last meeting with Pauline wrecked him and made him kinda sypathethic. I expect at least he'll still have a relevant role in all this.
Otto can work as a scarier villain since he already did some very atrocious things and is more intimidating, but that also takes away a big chunk out of the moral dilemmas. There's no longer a debate on whether the rebels had a point or not, now is all about them going too far in their actions and thus having to be stopped.
I'm not saying it's bad going this route, since from the first time Daniel was introduced we were already told the rebels were going too far, so this development was to be expected. I just wanted to comment that there was the option of going a more neutral route were neither party was right, and it was just a matter of a lesser evil(which can still be argued to be true for the current situation).
Either way, great chapter, good anime, and I wish you the best for the last few uploads.

So... I no longer know what to feel about Mitsuki. I've no idea if she is being genuine or just doing it all for the sake of amusement. I don't know if she's scheming unwholesome pranks, or some kind of elaborate plan that's trying to force our MCs out of their confort zone for their own sake in the long run(since apparently she has experience with catgirls and knows the problems that can arise and how to deal with them).
The end result is that she's more unreadable than anyone else in this story. If that's the intention with her, great job. If it isn't... then idk.

Now that's a lot of names. I don't know how relevant it will be that the Reapers live in Elakin and the guardians in Seris(and etc. etc.), but I hope that at least you don't assume later in the story that the reader will remember that from this chapter alone.
Good thing I already suspected this from ch0 and prepared notes for all the names(so far we have 8 named characters and more than 10 proper noun concepts in the form of places and tribes).
Regardless, I do like the story and don't have a problem with it being a huge world, but now I see why you said on the discord that you struggled with fitting the whole story into the contest length.

Great chapter, very dramatic, morally grey as I like it, and a solid conclusion to Pauline's arc.
On the other hand, I'm not sure how to feel about the reveal. It is very surprising and important for Elisa, but I don't know if we, as the audience, have been given enough info about her father beforehand to be shocked about this.
I'm only talking about the moment of the twist, since I didn't feel much when I read it. The following pieces of info about the type of person he is and what he might've done are very interesting, and I'm optimistic about the next few chapters since I expect the explanation for all of it to be great.

Yup, she definitely deserves the title.
Still, I can kinda understand why she's like this, she is an ancient person from an extremely conservative country, so it makes sense for her to be close minded and full of prejudice.
I like to believe underneath it all she also has a ton of stress/responsibilities as such a high ranking figure that contribute to her... moody attitute.

I'm fine with the wall of fire, I've assumed Kael can do most basic fantasy spells that come to mind.
To address your worry about the pacing: up to this point I think it's still good. It is unmistakably speeding up, but I see it as a natural buildup towards the climax and final conflicts of the story.

So umm... isn't the whole paragraph that starts with "The issue wasn't that I was African trying to…" completely unnecessary? We already know all of that from Sakya's side, and if you just wanted to tell the audience that Jumbo now knows as well, then you don't need the whole redundant infodump.

Very interesting Takuya re-encounter.
His first appearance just made him seem like a spoiled rich kid, but now he gave more of a "cunning social manipulator" kind of vibe, like if he wanted he could easily make the whole school bully our MCs.
I like it. Makes him much more terrifiying of an antagonistic force, especially when contrasted with the parts of the conversation where he almost seemed nice.

Usually I hate the "only heard part of the conversation so now I have a misunderstanding" trope since many mediocre authors use it as a source of forced drama that slows the development of the relationship.
So in your case I have to praise the use of the trope since it is a catalyst instead, forcing Sakuya to act and say the truth now or she will loose Jump forever.
I expect next chapter she will finally tell him everything, since I don't think it can be delayed any further without hurting the pacing.
