This has a fun pulp melodrama feel. I'm looking forward to how the romance portion fits with that style.

I didn't like the Commander and thought he was embodying exactly what he criticized in humans. The ending really made that fit.

Hopefully the eventually tug Shiori feels between either Motohara or Otonashi really makes sense for the readers.

Love the Isekai trope done well but with a totally different vibe. I went for an Isekai twist for mine novel, but didn't have the same intense atmosphere.
