Hey, if I'm gonna read something, I ain't skimming it That may be why I take so long, but it's more enjoyable picking up on those little things and the little details had a big impact on the whole story here, which I liked.

That makes a lot of sense actually. The movement of time did feel very off (in the "POV character is in a terrible mental state and has no concept of time anymore" kind of way).

I kind of did, actually. Mostly just wondered if it's an isekai drug that semi-yeeted him to a different world, and so that's why he ends up there when he dies. But the dream nature of it and the nightmare realm underneath had me hemming and hawing a bit on whether it was or wasn't. To the end, I still don't know.... But at least he wasn't consumed by the drug and mister fear-snake, like poor Ivy. RIP both of them, though I do genuinely hope she is in the nice part now and not stuck as a pair of terrified eyeballs in the evil snek.

hshfksdhskfh 😭😭😭 What happened. He dead bro, he gone, he murdered a woman and he died and now he's in druggee heaven with Ivy and Kaede (who I'm starting to wonder even existed to begin with??).
Man, that's sad, but also not, and my feelings don't know what to feel 😫
It was good though. Well-written. Had me questioning if everything after he overdosed was real and if he got sentenced and died at all (it's unusual for that to happen immediately, I think? At least, the stories of death-row prisoners waiting around for a year to be offed has me thinking that), but it's likely he did. Anyway, it was very psychological, very horror 😭👍 Poor Marnie. I feel like the ending was a bit quick and everything moved very fast after the overdose, which also makes it more confusing, but maybe that's the kind of effect you want. Overall, good read, Imma go be mildly traumatised for a couple hours....
