The end made all the rest of it worth it. Dang if it didn't tear my heart out, honestly. This little story was a lot more than I expected it to be. A lot darker, a lot richer, a lot sadder. Some of the chapters felt a bit rushed, and the time skip when they'd apparently been in there ten months came as a bit of a surprise. My main criticism of it would be that, with it being a bit stop-start, but overall you got me to care about a selfish princess and a doomed village and nearly cry at the end so I salute you for making me and the dragon so emotionally invested.
I also love that Bubbles gets to become the mascot of a happy village in the end ❤️
