Ooh I really like this one. There are some punctuation snags, but the imagery is fantastic! And, of course, we get to see R's origin story..... I love how you depict it, not leaping off on the dramatic end but still holding this weight to it that's affected all the soldiers across their lives. It feels realistic to me, and damn if I'm not invested in this character now 😂
