For the love of all sanity
PLEASE in the future, stick to either present or past tense. You don't slip often here, but sometimes you write in past tense where the majority is present, and it doesn't read well unless your audience is very used to fanfiction.
Other than that, though, it is interesting, and the prose is lively. It's not boring to read, which is the important part. Whatever Seth's smoking, it looks like it's got him on the fast-track to the Basement of Death, and I can see a lot of ways this will go very wrong.
