Heyo, before you do anything else, remember that quotes "" are the ideal for written speech unless you're in a real funny world where your characters speak through interpretive dance or the changing hue of their eye colour It makes it a bit funky to read if you've got all these em-dashes nested in a paragraph when your characters are (from what I can tell) normal-speaking humans/humanoids who use mouths and lungs to sculpt air for talking like we do. Italics are also a good way to indicate first-person thoughts, and would probably be easier than using <<>> Other than that lil note, looks like fun, have fun writing!
