A beautiful start! The atmosphere is captivating, and the slow, contemplative rhythm works well. You set up a traditional Japanese setting that feels vivid and sensory. The brothel as an opening setting did surprise me for a light-novel format (especially if the story aims for a broad audience) — not a problem in itself, but it might throw some readers off. Still, the mood is very strong.

And the funniest part? I actually left myself a note to double-check the distance between Shibuya and Tokyo Dome… and then completely forgot to verify it before publishing. 😂

It’s exactly the kind of small detail that can break immersion for readers who know Tokyo a little. I’ll probably fix it by adding a short metro/taxi transition before arriving at the Dome.
