This is great for being one of your first stories. The fact that you are willing to put it out here says a lot about you. I and many others here wrote in private for years before publishing our work here. I know you are going through a lot at the moment, but please keep writing. Use how you feel to shape the story even if it is not directly related. My own struggles with self identity became a 13 volume story that had nothing to do with my actual problem. This is the case with many writers. So please keep writing.
