You have done a great job portraying Miyami. I love her internal dialogue in this chapter. You made it easy to relate with her. This chapter was a pleasure to read.
So, I rewrote parts of this chapter. I felt that Jess was just a little out of character. I hope you enjoy the changes.

The picture is becoming clearer. Things are starting to make sense. Atleast Miyami has a friend now.

Ame is not wrong. this is a life altering choice for her. one that may have severe consequences. I know that I said it before, but I feel for both of them. you created characters that are easy to invest in.
