Umm. This story grabbed me at the beginning, even though I had no idea where you were going to take me. I thought about choose your own adventures, escape rooms, then finally old text games like Adventure or Zork. The writing dragged me in like those. The descriptions were great and the emotions felt real. In such a short story, you were able to capture all those feelings. I particularly love how you do not even try to answer all the questions we have. We know that Agatha must care about Iris, but we have no idea why she is there, how she lost her memories or why Iris is not in a more comfortable place. And it is ok. We do not need to know those things. The story is dark, but ends with hope.
