This story really resonated with me. How two people can be together and lonely at the same time is something I understand. I loved how you developed the metaphor of cats in the box avoiding the rain. and how you used that metaphor to develop one of the most organic love stories I have read. I know that I have said this before but you are a great writer with the talent of making compelling and complex characters.
