I like how they are getting along. This was a nice chapter. He is right though. Half inch metal plate is way overkill. Even if it is cheap aluminum, most debris would go through the wall first.

This was a nice chapter. I like how Minerva was able to get her concerns known without being too direct. We learned of a hidden love. I wonder if it will come into the open by the end. We will see. One thing I like about your stories is your ability to foreshadow. You drop little hints about the future, it makes me look for them as I read. Sometimes I am right about, but sometimes you go a completely different direction. We now have three characters that have come together with a common desire to start over and make a new life. For some reason it made me think of Miyami in your other story. ❤️
