Interesting.
I like your premise and title and art.
At the moment I'm not going to read the rest; it'll sit on my library until I have more time.
I will say; if you read your story out loud, you can tell where some parts feel clunky or uneven-I do it with mine and it helps a lot.
I do like how you opened with the question of what makes a hero though.
That is a good question.
