HEYYYYYYY -- where's their kiss????? I feel cheated of my happy ending here. (and I'm only partially joking.) 🥺
I'm not gonna lie, I was deeply disappointed by the ending. This story was my -- by far -- favorite rom com, until the last chapter. After the intensity of the imp fight, their blood-bond and the clear (but unspoken) feelings they have for each other, it doesn't ride the wave, but leaves them stagnant.
Instead of solidifying their relationship and everything the slow burn has been leading up to, they just revert back to where they were before. And a new character is introduced out of nowhere. I get that it's sequel bait, but... well... hm, of the plot points I expected to be left open, this wasn't one of them.
That said, I REALLY enjoyed this story. I love the characters, your prose flows well and is subtly funny when needed, and the worldbuilding and lore drops for Aku, and the demon world is very well done.
