A nice little relief to see Mikan's POV. The little "harem" thing of Mikan and Lorelei liking Kyou was fun to watch, and Lorelei teasing Mikan for falling for him like a
"Wing girl" was funny too. But Kyou indeed helped Mikan face her regrets for joining a PK party, and it kinda makes you understand why. By how Lorelei describes Kyou, it makes you feel he's a tsundere MC 😂. But the conversation between the two was quite endearing, especially how Lorelei seems to act as a real woman, not just some NPC

Oh boy, I wonder what this floor's about to do with Mikan and Zack. The interaction with Kyou and Yae was hilarious. Yae's such a babbermouth, and Kyou constantly berates her back, it's gold!😂 But I liked how Kyou was very suspicious of Yae, and we honestly cannot blame him ever since the twist of Val being the very boss herself on the previous floor

I loved the flashback of this floor when Kyou and Ayane fought together, and Kyou helped Ayane conquer her fear of ghosts. These throwbacks of their relationship through each floor truly help the reader understand how they were before Day Zero. Man, I don't want to be fooled by the absence of gravestones and the innocent change of this floor ever since the previous one. Kyou mocking Yae the moment he saw her was golden. Great timing when Kyou chucks her, and the game says "stop! Protect her!" 😂

Wow, what an epic and heartfelt way to end this boss battle! You really gave Val, even an NPC, such a personality that makes us readers feel sympathy for. Val hugging Kyou before dying, ignoring being shocked, and telling him that he has a warm heart despite how cold it seems, just wow... it was a heartwarming moment, especially for Kyou's character, as she was unlocking his heart, his humanity. Rest in peace, Val 🫡

Wow, just wow. I kinda wondered if Val could be the boss the whole time after how the previous chapter ended. And I loved how you gave Nercoval a twisted personality and backstory of how the NPC nobles worshiped false gods with sacrifices for immortality, and Val was a test subject who sought vengeance against Floor 3's city. It truly gave this boss an aura compared to the Scrap Commander and Helion. Necroval gives different vibes, like you're not just fighting a boss, you're fighting a broken person who turned into a beast.

Geez! A lot of lore about this floor, but I liked how, when Kyou escorted Val to the nuns and offered to protect them, he had a throwback to his grandpa and his predicted fate to be at an orphanage when he saw the NPC orphans. Man, now that the clock struck midnight, the boss appeared from the basement where Val and the children had gone to hide! Boy, this floor is very different from the usual sci-fi/cyberpunk scrap forest and pulse factory earlier!

Wow, I loved how inverted the "Zombie City" became with real guards who seemed to attack anyone from the main city, and if they get hurt, they bleed and feel emotions like real people! Man, it's truly a twisted floor as if GOD 404 was purposefully taking measures not only to make the game harder, but as a psychological war. And now, there's a weird, random quest from Vel, which hopefully will help Kyou find the next boss if it's not a trap!

Another great cliffhanger with an empty, mysterious floor. And I appreciated how this boss battle not only challenged Kyou to realize Helion's reverse pattern and adapt a new strategy, but how it showed us readers the relationship Kyou and Ayane established through this very boss battle before Day Zero. And now, Kyou took a page from Ayane's book and was able to apply that to this very moment with Helion. It made this boss battle very personal to Kyou, and I love that.

I loved the deception, how predictable and the same Helion looked to Kyou until it reached 1 HP and started thrashing and blasting lasers everywhere, forcing Kyou to push back. It's cool how Kyou felt that panic due to the change in predictability of the boss, and I love the throwback with Ayane saying, "Just do reckless charge."😂 But it's cool, because sometimes, you can't depend on "prediction patterns" on certain enemies, and that often forces and challenges players to come up with something new, be unpredictable as well, or do the unthinkable, like charge head-on when the game wants you to overthink!

Love that cliffhanger that the boss didn't evolve like the Scrap Commander, showing that something's off. Again, love how unique the cyberpunk floors are. The factory where the wires can hurt you sounds like a platform gaming hazard! The electric drones and machine crawlers were awesome. I loved how you presented different type matchups, and the enemies on this floor absorb electric attacks and thus, Kyou had to use an Earth sword and not resort to Volta. Obviously, I'm probably not going to remember all the matchups🤣, but I loved the unique types you presented in this game, and you used Floor 2 with electric-based enemies to show it!

As someone who loves sci-fi/fantasy, I love the cyberpunk atmosphere of this game. A forest mixed with technological scraps, and scrap goblins using pliers like scythes and hammers with broken generators. Man, that's fantastic imagination! I love how, with this first boss, you portrayed how different it became within Nightmare difficulty. The Scrap Commander is no longer a moving sludge scrap pile, but in a golem form with more HP. Very nice that Kyou exploited the Core weakness at the head to beat it. I always love boss battles that challenge cognitive strategy building. I mean, this is only Floor 1, so I can't wait to see what comes next!

I loved how you brought the NPCs with their own personalities, and that they actually would already die and not respawn. Usually, NPCs can just regenerate in most games, but that's interesting that in this case, even before Day Zero, they don't. It's very touching that this was said to be the first time NPCs were helping players. I loved how you hinted at the many dangers of the next floors, like a booby trapped Floor 5 Phantom Grid and the Graveband Floor 4 that plays with your mind and resurrects dead companions to fight you (boy, that's mean😂). Man, again, I love it, but it's so underhanded that in the middle of Floor 6, GOD 404 pulls their leg with maximized difficulty. I do like how you portray GOD 404 as always doing a "play dirty" tactic as a villain. And I love Ayane expressing her regret and her remembrance of her heartfelt promise with Kyou.

I love how Ayane's group kept refreshing, hoping Ritsu was alive, but had to face the reality that permanent death was real now. I liked how Ayane wanted to rally the friends and half stood down because of their fear and panic of death, but there were some who shared Ayane's determination to conquer the game, and this led to the union of the factions.

Man, I love this perspective of Ayane at Day Zero and how she still remembers her promises with Kyou and hopes he is alright. GOD 404 offering a chance to fight the Floor 10 boss was underhanded since it felt like a friendly challenge, but it was a trap. He just took 1,000 random people into the boss's room, and they were cut in half in a flash, showing a significant threat at the endgame! I also liked how Ayane's friends were all fake avatars, and they all turned to their polar real-life selves. It was very cool to see.
