I think this every time until the next comes up but this is my favorite chapter so far! Hoshino cracks me up and I want to hug him for feeling weak and overthinking their defeat. He’s very relatable. Aaaah, I need more! Hope this is not the last of mommy oiran either.

🫠🫠🫠 I looooove this chapter. The cooking together was too cute, their budding relationship is so wholesome and precious, and Akari’s decision feels like a really satisfying end. I’m sad for this to be over but I enjoyed it so much!!

The Ed Sheeran reference SENT ME. I’m also starting to get the hang of this magic system and it’s so satisfactory like figuring out the controls. And man, Hazama is such a baddie. Great chapter!!

Awww, they both truly deserve their happy ending. I agree with the other comments, this would already make a fine satisfactory ending - but adding in a little twist or setting up for a sequel would also be possible if you’re still wanting to do more with this story. That’s up to you though!

Careful about some missing verbs in the first few paragraphs, I noticed a few XD “her voice (was) soft” for example.

Ohhh, finally Jun’s story! I liked the original twist on the “cynical cop” backstory. And now he’s trusting Akari with it 🥹

Noticed one sentence in the first half where it’s “Jun closed his file, following Tadashi that was already moving” which should be “who was already moving”.
