This chapter had me saying various variations of the phrase “what the F*ck”. Most of them while giggling. A few with pure cringe XD

But I am seriously loving the way you are building this mystery!! Action scenes, magic, spirits, and this bizarre sense of humor… I still have no idea what’s coming next and I’m so invested.

Did you time for this chapter to be released on Christmas?? If so that is GENIUS

Thank you for writing such a cute Christmas scene, it warmed my stoic heart 🥰🥰🥰 because Christmas in Japan sucks (in my jaded opinion). It’s like a second Valentine’s Day event, it’s mostly centered around couples. So Akari and Jun going on a date on Christmas makes perfect sense! But meeting his family on Christmas Eve would be a rare occurance (that is not to say it wouldn’t happen at all! I don’t intend to generalize) but instead - most Japanese people spend New years at their parents house. It’s like reversing Christmas and NY traditions for us in the west.

All this to say you don’t have to change anything about your story since it’s yours, but just to give you an impression how the end of the year feels here in Tokyo at least.
