Shiki is a well-written character so far, kudos. For now, I am still very neutral with Saya. She fits certain criteria of a red flag in the upcoming future, or she really has good intentions. A huge contrast from the previous chapter as well.
Saya's introduction was an interesting read too. Shiki does not see her as her perfect crush. Yes, she admits liking her. However, at the same time, he sees those flaws of her and sort of dislikes them as well, which is a healthy relationship in my opinion. You do not need to like absolutely everything about someone. Sometimes, they will do things you don't particularly like, in this case, smoking, but you can still keep your friendship since it is a simple taste they have and you don't share with them.
