They're real cute together. And Braith is a real one for that.
Couldn't help but consider the idea that if Yumie "knows" all that Braith does, then maybe she "knows" instinctively what he looks like?
Anywho, it's an interesting thought by Braith - that she doesn't even know what he looks like. I feel a future romantic scene with her touching his face and making a mental image of it. I smell it!

That type of narration near the beginning was very ADHD-dissiociation inspired. I based it on the style of flash fiction. It hit very close to home, in that sense, and I felt it effectively streamed the "automatic" aspect of his morning routine. I sprinkle that kind of writing occasionally throughout the story, especially when the MC is dissociating. I appreciate you noticing that! Hope you've enjoyed so far!
