I have the feeling Yuki is more worried about Saki than Ayumi, he tends to go toward her first (though he's torn between them later). Ayumi is pretty harsh, though. Yuki is not useless, he healed them with his field. At least he contributed this time!

It's a timeline sort of thing. You heard of the multiple timelines theory? So instead of simply rewinding in the same timeline, she gets sent to a different, parallel timeline. It's the multiverse theory, so Trevor gets isekaied into this specific timeline, but not the previous timeline.
