Looks okay to me! I mean, I would still cut out the iced coffee and milkshake parts and get straight to the point, but I understand you're trying to show how Maria is distracted. Otherwise, seems fine. Probably run it through Xiellion again to see what he thinks. I'm not sure if you've solved the issue of filler dialogue.

Gotta agree with Yuki there, that was a super long flashback. It messed with the pacing if you ask me, but I'm no expert in writing, so maybe you can just ignore me. It went for what, 8 chapters?

I'm not sure Saki is the "normal" one as she claims. She's making quite the assumption that Atlantis is closer to Japan than say, Afghanistan or some parts of Africa and the Middle East, where they have child soldiers even today. Now I empathize with her horror, but her tantrum at how the others "simply accept" it just sounds unnatural. It would be more natural if she simply expressed her horror and Yuki and Haruo inform her that it happens in reality, rather than this weird, artificial strawman situation where she berates them and claims she's the only normal one here.
