Thanks znf for the feedback! The few things I could address are:
- You are absolutely spot on with the Melyeze fight. Its grander design/relevance will be fully revealed in the second volume of the story. My contest submission is only the first volume, so there is bound to be parts that will not be fully expanded on.
- I am also not too fond of too many cliffhangers, but I'm doing this because of marketability. Cliffhangers are not just common in isekai, but basically any story with action (non-episodic ones). They will turn some people off, except the fans who would want more, so it is better in terms of marketability.
