Oh, most definitely. I've spent the last several weeks actually fleshing out the moves and mechanics of the artform, and I fully intend to use all of it as much as possible, plot permitting.
But seriously, merc'ing the POV character in the first paragraph would be a hilarious start to a school book.

It took several lines for me to realize this wasn't literal. And to be honest, I'm kinda disappointed it isn't.
Yeah, the prologue is the moment that started her obsession. The story picks up where her journey to mastery truly begins.
You will know next chapter, but eighteen in this world.
