Regarding the confusion you had in reading this first chapter, it was actually an experiment of mine. I purposely wrote it that way, so that I could intrigue people on "what did he actually do that other people in this disliked him?". However, I just figured it out that it confused people, and you've enlightened me. That's why I really appreciate your comment, so I will write better in the future.
