Chapter:6

Ah nice, this Herakles guy seems cool. Nice to have a villain who might be able to pose an actual threat to the heroes 😜

The Children of Eris

Like drinking the most organic juice 😈

The Sequence of Kai

Chapter:17

It's neat how focused on logistics they are in this book, stuff like why Hilda is getting so strong so quickly and what this means for the humans of this world. I thought David was being overly cautious at first cause he could clearly solo this whole planet but might've been a play on his part

The Children of Eris

Yeah there are probably 4 sex scenes at most that are more painful than this 🥉

Thanks, to be honest I'm surprised you managed to find this at all, I'm glad you got a laugh out of it if nothing else 👍

You lot would simply be dead without your editor

I love how the conflict going on inside David sort of leaks outside with how confusing Rebecca finds him, that weird combo of clearly being a dangerous, bad person but also sheltering maids and punishing the parents. Makes it more interesting than if David was outwardly just a monster but struggling on the inside the whole time 👍

The Children of Eris

Chapter:12

Smells like deepest lore 😈

The Sequence of Kai

Chapter:12

Very different vibes, the way Trish just seems more interested in what's around her than Kai is, and how that's communicated by how she describes the sights in Brighton among other things like just that meaningless detail about the fellow not owning an iron is really slick character stuff.

Love the little breadcrumbs of the bigger plot coming through in such a natural way as well, like this Kohsan guy they keep bringing up or something about Aaron's ability, it makes the setting feel really lived in and not pandering to us, seriously engaging stuff 🥉

The Sequence of Kai

Chapter:11

Like the switching up of perspectives, even when we know the protagonists are monstrously overpowered, if we see how they mess up other people from a different point view things can still feel tense 👍

The Children of Eris

This is where I'm currenting getting my noir fix, can't believe it's only chapter 4 it feels like so much's gone on. Can't wait to see Lev get his shit together 😜
