Holy shit that was intense, didn't think a spitting contest could get me sweating this much, great stuff. 💦💦💦

The Sequence of Kai

Chapter:7

Jul 20, 2021

Love the fight here, fights are always more interesting when it's more about the matchup than the martial skills flying if you ask me. The way Lev has to get around the magnetism using terrain and knowledge is really engaging. The writing really sells how at the end of their rope the two of them are.

Love the little character moments as well, like the boss' concern for Pierce and Lev's confusion, only three chapters in and it feels like a lot is going on. 👍

This could end up actually just being mint, there's something so slick and confident about the writing and dialogue. It's efficient but there's some real style going on. Stuff like 'he needed a moment to catch his breath. The moment never came.' Made me think how you can only get that kind of writing in a novel.

This is interesting, I like the drip feed of info you've got going on, it feels pretty natural. Charming rapport between the protags as well, seems like it could be good fun 👍

Drinking Coffee while Dinosaurs Roam My Backyard

Chapter:1

Jul 16, 2021

This has been really interesting so far, Kai's character is really well developed by just how little effort she puts into describing what's around her outside of whatever her current objective is. But when it comes to Trish you finally see some proper indignation and passion come out of her, in the last chapter as well it felt like more effort was put into describing little things about Trish's demeanour or attitude. It's a really good way to show not only how much Kai cares for Trish but how uninterested she seems to be in much else. Seriously slick stuff 👺
