This novel explores a magical world that I'm building and hope to use for several other novels. I'm using this novel to help build the world, so sorry for any inconsistencies. One thing I should note for the astute. The language used for the magic is very much still a work in progress. Right now it's based on Latin, but I hope to evolve it into its own language that feels both unique and familiar. This actually causes a minor problem because the main character is familiar with Latin. I address this problem by... ignoring it completely.
