1. I have no issues with how everything reads. I personally enjoy things descriptive, though, so perhaps I'm not the best person to ask.
2. I like the shorter chapters. They are easy to read on the phone if needed.
3. I don't find it that confusing to follow at all, but even if I did, as long as it looked like there was a direction for everything to work out in the end, I think it would be okay.
It looks like I'm echoing what Ocrali and Elf-Trics thought as well.
I'm not sure what you do for your polish, but if you are looking to do more, some things I personally have found helpful are using a text to speech and Grammarly. What works for me might not work for everyone, but I thought I'd share in case it is helpful in some way.
