Yes, it's actually like slowly unraveling a strange puzzle! I also see, that the story is very centered around Harmon and how he sees the world. Until the point I read, I already suspected, that we won't receive a big answer explaining everything. It's incomplete and there are several holes and inconsistencies. But it's great you add a few lampshades to make more clear why you're doing this!
Oh, really? I thought this Tower Defense aspect was just like a small easter egg, but it actually has such a big meaning. That's great! What are you developing in, then? I have a few experiences in Unreal with C++, but next to my studies, I never got to really finish an idea, because exams would always pick up again and throw me out entirely, so I decided to try it only after I finished my Masters 😅
But I'm mainly a Web Developer, so the stories and game development and whatever else there is, is also only a hobby of mine ...
