So like, I’ve been wondering this since chapter 1.
But why the heck wouldn’t Roze just use acceleration on herself? Super speed, hello?

Yeeeee I’m starting to feel the disconnect.
An easy thing to do with time loopers is to show the looping process at the start, show their reaction, show their struggles, etc etc. It’s almost to the point of a cheap trick but it works. I assumed you deciding to flip the scrip is an attempt to go against that which I commend, but unfortunately it’s a bit lacking in compensation imo.
So we know Gideon can stop time and loop. Cool, makes him even more broken than the average time user. There’s a cap as well so that’s a safety bottleneck to prevent him from being OP. But that lies the problem: he doesn’t show enough insecurity to imply he’s been looping too many times, but he’s nowhere near OP enough (shown) to signify that he’s been looping a lot. It cheapens on both the mentor aspect (I saw one of your comments on being somewhat Frieren) and the relatability of the character, making him in this sort of awkward limbo between the two sides of inspiring and relatable

Hmmm…
While I get that it is possible, it’s a bit odd to just automatically assume you’ve been isekai’d just by falling into a manhole (I’d assume some kind of injury at first). Feels like it’s lacking a bit of description to really cement the point of being isekai’d instead of anything else.
Same goes with the whole progression through the city. The overly familiar tropes (vaguely medieval European aesthetics, no language barrier, etc.) can help you skip the usual stuff to get to the meat faster, but I think you’re missing out on some of the character interactions here that we as readers don’t really see why it’d be fun to continue

Ehhhhh… If I have to be honest I’m not feeling this one ngl. Unless you’re *really* inadept at it time magic of any kind is always considered one of the most broken powers, even accounting for something as basic as acceleration. We’ll see in the next few chapters but for now I’m gonna need a lot more convincing to buy it
