Like, if Erika didn't exist, it wouldn't be so glaring, but Erika does exist and is thus a kinda constant reminder how absurd the idea od sending exclusively children to space it😅.
It also doesn't answer why there all girls either. I mean not all bois are tall😆.
Its both, a total none issue tbf, but also like, the entire premise revolves around it.
Like, when this trope is used in anime they usualy have a valid reason within the frame work of the anime - Magical girls are always more imaginative or in like Madoka, their the most emotionally state of humanity.
Magic military shows like strikes withces use the old 'your magic peaks at 18, all downhill from there' - Etc etc
Are these good reason? Eh. But what matters is there reasons, there their so that we the audience don't have to think about it right? It might be wierd or silly but its logical to this wierd and silly story.
Hoshinaught is absolutly one of that genre of stories, yet it fundamentally makes no sense, and thus my immersion do be rather broken near constantly😢.
Again, its fineeeeeeee but its also not? Anywho, won't stop me reading but defo impedes my enjoyment 👍
