First of all, let me thank you once again for taking the time to read the novel and for sharing your thoughts through your comments, I was always looking forward to reading them every time I uploaded ๐
Iโm honestly glad I could capture the feel of the story in a way that made you feel the summer vibes ๐
The only point in your critique I will reply on is the first person perspective. I donโt necessarily believe itโs an easier way to write a novel. Actually I feel it is more restrictive while the third person narration feels more free. I actually chose first person because it is more like YUKIOโs story, and having him narrate it feels more natural. You can also dive deeper into his feelings, and as a reader, you automatically label him as โTHE protagonistโ and basically feel like youโre in his shoes. Plus, I feel like I can do better comedy in first person, maybe thatโs just me ๐
also, itโs kinda more fun to write in first person in general, or at least thatโs what I thought at the start ๐ค but I really wanna try out third person again, since itโs been a while ๐
For the rest of your points, Iโm not gonna comment on and just take them to heart, and try to improve upon ๐
