I like to think of the early mysteries as being "anodyne mysteries" so that they can be easily resolved in 3-4 web novel chapters. I guess the danger is always there that the mystery might be too straightforward, as you say~
With that in mind, I do have plans for a more intricately plotted mystery and it involves an actual murder, so I do hope you'll keep reading! 😁
