First off thank you for reading, and thank you for the feedback! I went back and polished some things out and fixed the first paragraph and the issue with Niomyo, glad you pointed that out. I still don't think it's great cause it feels "old", but it's presentable now. I wasn't expecting more than a couple people (aka, you and Orionless) to see it, and it kinda ballooned up to a 100 views so I'm embarrassed at what I put out there originally haha.
I started writing this story over TEN years ago, and right before I started AFG I drew some really good pictures of some characters, (which are my current cover and a couple more that I just put in my gallery, if you wanna check them out) and got motivated for a moment to go back and mess around with the first few chapters. Before it was a lot of exposition, zero prose, even worse grammar and a crap ton of characters being introduced kind of poorly. I took inspiration from the To Aru Majutsu no Index route in chapter length and style, and if you thought this was long most of mine were about double in length. Hell, I even have a full chapter long fight that dragged on for 8k+ words haha. I personally think it is great, full of really good action and high stakes, but the form and style doesn't make for a good webnovel and would likely be downright torturous for most readers.
Grammar wise, I still struggle with what you pointed out, I think writing in the present tense sometimes makes me super sloppy.
I'm glad you like Trojia though, other than Tani she's my favorite character in all my stories. If it ever gets to the point where I post more often, I find her progression through the world around her to be very compelling. Ubica is great too, but alas his arrival will be postponed for some other day haha
