To parrot this, I totally agree. I also really like how your writing style switches fro character to character. Like I found Kat's inner dialogue to be almost childish and brash, whereas Midas and his little comedic interludes within conversations with Adella is beyond charming and comes across as more adult like and mature. Soren... comes across like a monster ngl haha. Really a fun style to read!

Great first chapter, definitely had me thinking about the people that have come and gone in my life, even those only met for a moment in passing. What I like most about the opening is that it makes me wonder what the story can be about and it's done well enough to keep me very interested in chapter 1. Looking forward to jumping in later!

Yeah I don't always have time to write so this story has taken a while, it's fun to write and I really like the characters so hopefully I can one day finish it up nicely.
