I'm glad to hear that! Haha when it was written I was worried it'd come off as too chaotic and would he hard to follow, but chaos can be fun! This'll give a good idea of the kind of shenanigans Charl and the Languages club will get into going forward. Thank you for reading to this point Orionless!

It has quite the cult following, it's a musical (which I admit I am a sucker for) and I really like it but it may not be for everyone.
And no pressure to reply to my comments as I go along with your story! Maybe if or when you come back from your break it'd be fun for you to go back and see the peaks and valleys of my emotional journey towards the end haha
Haha yeah in the end, Tani has had to try his damndest to become a monster. This doesn't mean he still isn't capable, but it does mean he simply can't be that way around Anita no matter what. It's nice to see him finally let go of the personna, if only for a moment!

Although I can't claim to be particularly smart, I do know that nothing comes easy even for smart people. Tani is no exception! I hope Charl piques your interest in a good way haha, his motivations aren't near as grandiose as Tani's, but he still has his own big dreams none the less
I agree with Orionless's take and I'm excited to see where he goes from here, and I also picture Atlas as an anime version of Frank's creation in Rocky Horror Picture show, which is quite an image haha. Well done this chapter!

Welcome back, great to have you! Haha Shirai becoming a teacher is a great mystery indeed, she's unhinged. In fact before I started writing this story I specifically made the decision to make Tani an 18 year old senior in high school because of her lol. Although extremely inappropriate, at least their potential relationship is not completely illegal!

Damn I really feel the energy Atlas is giving this chapter after getting done with a long work day haha. Great job on the dialogue between Atlas and the siblings, I really enjoyed how the three of them handled the hopeless nature of the very near future together. Though I'm sure they will be getting a move on soon, the fleeting moment of relaxation was nice. I am also quite curious about whey she didn't want to go see her parents, I can sense a good back story incoming!
Haha I can picture how disheveled she must be for him to not even recognize her at first, it was funny how he wracked his brain in the process. Poor Julian, I'd be calling for the end of the world too if I lived with 7 roommates
