I think this started out a bit slow, and this was definitely on the longer side for a first chapter (not that I'm one to talk, lmao) but what hooked me was actually a comparatively minor detail. Namely, Koiyomi's introduction shows that at least some of her character tics as Mayu are actually just her being herself, which seems like an interesting angle to explore going forward. How much of the character is the original person, and how much of it's an act, and how much of that act ends up rubbing off on their day-to-day mannerisms -- that sort of thing. I mean, when you play a part for upwards of 7 hours a day, that's got to change the way you act even when you're not really *acting,* y'know?
Akira is, yeah, a bit hopeless so far, but I'll give him a chance to grow on me. All in all, pretty funny and interesting, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes!
