The title has instantly caught my attention! And it works really well with the cover, evoking medieval theming. The synopsis seems a little unusual, more reserved, lacking anime-y tropes at a first glance.
What I’m trying to say is that the presentation has caught my interest.
It’s interesting to find a story set in Europe. It’s always either Japan or America, so it’s a nice change of pace.
As I understand, it’s supposed to be future? So far, the most fantastic part of the premise is Japan somehow getting overpopulated xd
The text flows smoothly, I like that it’s not too short of descriptions and details. But there are some parts that seem a bit off. For example, “How will I even understand Mr. Peter”. Maybe, it was supposed to say “recognize Mr. Peter”? But as a fellow non-native speaker of English, I completely understand the struggle to write in a second language.
The formatting is a little intense. It is expressive, but I personally find it somewhat distracting.
Overall, I think I will need several more chapters to see whether this novel is something I’d like to stick with. The premise is fun, but the story itself hasn’t grabbed me with a sufficient hook yet.
