Damn. Things kicked from 4-10 right off the bat. Things have gotten way larger than I expected, and went smoother too.
The thing about the pill, is that it was never powerful enough to remove doubts. The big hint we've had is the first chapter where MC knew himself that he is basically forcing himself to take the pill. While the government put it as mandatory, taking the pill has always been a voluntary action of the mass. No inspection, no enforcing force, no supervision.
And so, we've gotten here where a speech from a student convinced most or at least many to cheer them and even throw the pills, supporting the idea that they had been harboring doubts all along. And those who don't want to accept it are those who, had been conforming mindlessly. With enough time, I'm pretty sure they can be enlightened too.
I say, the government took a half-assed measure if they really wanted for the society to remove the concept of love. I bet there is something that had happened in the past as to why the system is lacking and quite easily broken.
I'm worried about Ekko and MC now. They are the public figures who started it now. Are we going to meet some resistance group now that are going to aid Haruki and MC XD?
But dude, the moment I was waiting for the MC to take some actions, he finally did it, with a kiss. Sheesh. That was good.
