Yoo! That was a good start. We were introduced to the settings with just enough details, about the protagonist, family, and their society. Short details yet gives you imagery already.
The incident with the man solidified the idea that it is a dystopia. And I'm interested with how the drugs works, or what is its role.
Of course, our protagonist is bound to break free, or at the very least would realize that this is wrong, (maybe not in their world since that is the normal but anyway), and I'm looking forward to that part.
