Yeah, I know that about Oliver and Sprout, but it doesn't really dispel any of my doubts. I don't know, it still feels like a lot of clashing elements (if I went to a rural town I guarantee no one would know chronically online terms like 'incel' but I digress). It's your story so you'd know better than me, obviously, but I do think a lot of concepts are way too vague. It's kind of weird because some traits (mainly Sprout's sentiment about humans) are TOLD through dialogue, even though I assume the intent is to show. It's kind of a similar issue to what I had with the catboy fic. It's like certain elements get sprinkled but, not blended into the story. Again, though, you'd know best.
