P.S: I usually read back as a courtesy but if you're gonna read JUST so I return the favor, heed my warning: I won't.

I've noticed that you explain subtext sometimes, like this chapter where he's jealous so he goes for drinks to escape the situation, which I know because he just said so, but then... you repeated both things? give some credit to us readers smh I know, there's no need to state things multiple times with inner monologue, narration and actions within the same 200 words or so

I mean that everyone acts so outlandish that I'm left wondering if it's something like, idk, tengen toppa where ppl roll around screaming their feelings rather than something like eva where they act like actual people
I just figured that's how she qualified or smth then I read the next chapter

I guess they believed when she said she wants world peace
the humor was pretty nice this chapter and I found myself liking their interactions, but near the end it got cartoony again, and I'm still not sure if that's a stylistic/narrative choice or if it's supposed to be realistic idk it's entertaining to far though

0_o I'm just going to assume this is one of those elevated reality stories where no one acts like a person
ah shit, not like other girls
o_o that was chilling from start to finish, well done
the idea that whether we live or die depends on a game done by deities borders on existential horror :| lots of questions to be asked, too do people reclaimed by death go to... idk, the underworld or smth do people reclaimed by life stay alive for a wee bit longer? since in the end they probably end up going to the underworld anyway what's up with gods being replaced idk it's early and I'm sleep deprived and having an existential crisis now

The Rival
ok but is it BL
she always seems to be ruled by thanatos, one of the two forces
despair is for losers I agree
in all seriousness, though, I really liked it c: there's so much 'once upon a time were two people and they died' in this competition that to see something directly defy death/fate/whatever was... well, hopeful

okok, that makes a lot of sense
