I didn’t want to spoil you in my previous comment, but unfortunately yes. 🙂‍↕️ Due to the dishonor of letting his most important prisoner escape, he and his men did so instead of facing punishment. That’s what the practice of asking “for a second”, this world’s version of seppuku/harikiri is. It was more implied than outright stated, so I don’t blame folks at all for being surprised. Let’s hope this meeting between brothers goes well though 🙏 Felix could use a bit of good news.

This one hurt me 😭 It pays off the last chapter title pretty well, too, because we get to see the cost of Flint’s indecision. While I can’t say I would have fared much better in the situation, it’s still tough how it turned out. I hope Kemal is a good sort though, since we already had a knight double cross them already.

Classic Bakuchan. Mr Greedy is about as likable as I would have expected, which is unfortunately NOT VERY 😅 but since their goals seem to align for the time being, they’ve gotten the seal of approval on their rescue quest. Would it kill masked lady to do something besides aura farm though? Sheesh!
