I don’t know if I should be pleased or not that Lucius basically said exactly the same thing I did in my last comment 😅 but if what he was saying is true, about everyone living in fear before Akkadia was at the height of its power, I’m not sure what to think. Seems like Silje is in the same boat.

I’m not so sure what path she should take 🤔 on the one hand, the worms are their ultimate enemies, but by taking out the master and ultimately the council, they’re weakening the front to stand against them. They also can’t provide the sort of order that the council did. It’s a tough situation.

I feel for Jora 😔 but that was brilliantly executed by him (no pun intended), demonstrating enough leadership qualities to redirect the anger to the defectors. If only they could carry out raids without bloodshed, but that’s wishful thinking isn’t it? I’m interested in what Lancelot saw though.

Emi is a triple threat, she’s got the looks, the debating skills, and she cares a great deal for Raiga. 😁 I tend to agree. Anyone who would have simply sliced Hypatia in two might have saved a bit of time, but they would have proven themselves unworthy of ascending the steps. Nicely done. 👏

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head 🔨 the past haunts everyone in the story, and even people who pretend not to care about it (like Kite) have some tough things to look back on. However, like you said, it’s no reason to constantly live behind you. The future can be even better if we work towards it 🫡
