First, I want to start off by saying I think that the premise of your story is extremely beautiful. It really has a lot of heart a soul put in, and I can feel it based on this prologue chapter. I'm very curious to see how this gentle hearted veteran settles down and finally becomes a painter, even with her disabilities and emotional struggles.
Not only that, but the actual reading of this story is very easy to follow, and the structure is good too.
And thirdly, the part I liked most was when Lonnete described the paintbrush in Caulia's mouth like a cigar. That really hit an emotional cord in me. Something about how she's fighting for her dream, even with her troubles, is inspiring.
I really look forward to reading more! Btw, I recognize you from Devientart! Small world, right? 😄
